With both Suus Kuyten, Philip Rüping and Stein Endresen, Cabachon has achieved international victories. For example he won the 1.50m Grand Prix at CSI3* Ciekocinko, performed well in Nations Cup competitions, and was placed in the Grand Prixs of Vestfold, Oldenburg as well as the Baltica Spring Tour. From a young age, Cabachon impressed with his jumping abilities, scope, technique and willingness to work. As a five-year-old, he already qualified for the final of the Young Horse World Championships. This did not go unnoticed by breeders, and from his early breeding years, he produced a remarkably high percentage of internationally performing offspring. More than ten offspring of Cabachon are already performing at international 1.50/1.60m level, including Callisto KS, Triton Hastak, H&M Crusader Ice and Mjanghoj’s Constantin Z. Cabachon is developing into a first-class breeding stallion and that is hardly surprising given his own talent and good origins. He is sired by the Holstein top performer Casall, who was one of the most successful horses of his generation under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and has been of great value in breeding, as evidenced by offspring at top level such as Chesall Zimequest, Casello, Caracas, Cristallo and H&M Chilli Willi. Cabachon has also inherited Holstein genes from his dam’s side. His dam, Lady Mobilcom, is noted as the granddam of, among others, the 1.45m level competing Quintino (s.Quidam de Revel), Dewa Davina (s.Diamant de Semilly) and Cantuccini (s.Catoki). Cabachon has proven himself at the highest level in sport and seems poised to excel in breeding as well.
