One of Suus Kuyten’s young top talents is this Cartier Z, which was approved by the KWPN under the name Rolex. This four-year-old stallion made a name for himself last winter in the KWPN performance test and the presentation of the new crop during the KWPN Stallion Show. With his light-footed gallop, excellent reflexes, exceptional body use, and outstanding jumping technique, he is undoubtedly a stallion to keep an eye on. He received high praise from the stallion selection committee.
His sire Chacco Bay won a 1.55m class at CSI5* Sharjah under Michael Pender and is now causing a sensation at the highest level under Omar Abdul Aziz Al Marzooqi, with whom he has already achieved international victories. Cartier Z is from the first crop of this eleven-year-old Grand Prix stallion and has also inherited good jumping genes from his dam’s side. His dam Budine has already produced three international show jumpers, including Chad Fellows’ 1.40m-rated Hudine (by Numero Uno). In the second generation, the Grand Prix stallion Montender adds his genes. Under Marco Kutscher, he won double bronze at the Olympic Games in Athens and double gold at the European Championships in San Patrignano. Offspring such as Monte Bellini, Messenger, and Tokyo du Soleil prove Montender’s hereditary strength. Through the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Voltaire, this dam line then goes back to the Larome mare Nike. She produced Trix (by Kalypso), an international 1.60m horse, and is herself the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix winner AD Ricardo 500 (by Heartbreaker) owned by Athina Onassis. In 2025, Cartier Z will serve his first mares, and expectations are high.
